WeI loved food and service. The menu was reduced because we came on solar eclipse day and they expected a crowd but everything was nice. After we finished we were offered to take out some water with ice because it was a hot day.
Great American diner experience! The portions are healthy and home-cooked, and the service is friendly and quick. Try the glazed carrots, as they're closer to a dessert than a vegetable - delicious!!

Catfish was very fishy tasting. Butter beans were perfect! Chicken & dumplings were good but needed more seasoning. Greens were cooked well, but again, needed some seasonings. Price was excellent, cash only though....no cards at all! Rice & gravy was in need of seasoning also.
A WONDERFUL TERRIFIC PLACE TO EAT DAILY. BEST PLACE I'VE EVER EATEN . MY DAD ALWAYS TOOK US HERE FOR YEAR'S. GOD REST HIS SOUL. THANKS DAD FOR TAKING US HERE .
Waitress was not really interested in being there, but nice, no smiles. We will go back to try other items before giving it a thumbs up or down....
